This policy explains what information Close With Coby collects through closewithcoby.com, our forms and the Homebuying Game Plan, and through our calls, texts and email; how we use it; who we share it with; and the choices you have. Close With Coby is a real estate team of Virtual Properties Plus LLC, a licensed Georgia real estate brokerage, led by Coby Pegues. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Close With Coby. Our text messages are sent under our registered texting brand Pegway Real Estate Group LLC, the company that does business as Close With Coby.
What you give us. Your name, email address and mobile number; a property address; what you want to buy or sell and when; and the answers you choose to give in the Homebuying Game Plan, such as county, target price or monthly payment, cash available, credit range, household size, income range, military service, VA disability compensation and public service role. The Game Plan shows your numbers before it asks for any contact details, and every answer beyond the contact details a form asks for is optional.
Your text consent. If you agree to receive texts, we keep a record that you agreed, the exact wording you agreed to, its version and the date and time.
What your browser sends. Pages you visit, the page that sent you here, your device and browser type, an approximate location based on your internet address, and campaign tags in the link you used. We use Google Analytics to count visits and the steps people take in the Game Plan. The Game Plan events we send to Google Analytics carry no name, email, phone number or income.
From UHome Mortgage, when you ask. If you are a UHome Mortgage borrower without a real estate agent and you ask to be introduced to Close With Coby, UHome Mortgage sends us your name, email and phone number.
About properties. Public records and listing data about homes, which may include owner names.
We do not share or sell your mobile number or your text message consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text opt in data and consent are used only to send the texts you agreed to, through the service providers that deliver them for us. The full terms for our texts are on our Text Terms page.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows.
We use Google Analytics, which uses cookies and similar technology to collect data about visits, such as pages viewed and device type, and sends it to Google for processing. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add on. Google explains its use of this data on its page How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Our site does not change how it works in response to browser Do Not Track signals.
We keep information as long as we need it for your request and for as long as our brokerage and Georgia real estate rules require us to keep transaction records. We keep text consent and opt out records for five years after your last text from us.
We use reasonable safeguards, including access limited to the people who need it and providers that encrypt data in transit. No system is perfectly secure. Please do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers or passwords through our forms, texts or email.
This site is for adults buying or selling homes. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us so we can delete it.
Our pages link to other sites, such as UHome Mortgage, Google and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. Their own privacy policies apply there.
When we change this policy, we post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change affects how we use information we already have, we ask for your consent where the law requires it.
